Dear CLIOHWORLD partners,

Dear Friends, As you know, our next and last CLIOHWORLD Plenary Conference and Working Meeting will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, and our colleague Amélia Andrade is busy preparing for our visit.
The dates, as announced in Adana, are 17-18 June with arrival on 16 June, departure 19 June (arrival on 15 June for Coordinating Committee members). We will send you the programme and logistic information as soon as we can.

The general theme of the meeting, as stated in our application, is “Europe, the European Union and the Wider World: Guidelines and Reference Points for History Programmes” . This will be our final Plenary Meeting, a time to take stock and also to celebrate our accomplishments. Naturally this means that your Work Group will be in high gear in the next weeks in order to finalise the planned products and be able to test and implement them before Lisbon.

We ask you to please make your travel arrangements, doing your best to find economical solutions.
With respect to travel costs, the project will pay for all your travel from your town of habitual residence to the city where the meeting is to take place. The easiest way for this to be done is for you to buy your own ticket and, once the entire journey has been completed, send us the tickets, boarding passes, and the reimbursement form. It is important for you to start looking for flights as soon as possible, and contact us if you have any problems.

We would like to remind you that you must keep all boarding passes, as these are the proof required by the European Commission in order for the reimbursement to be guaranteed, as well as the ticket (on which the price of the flight should appear) or, failing that, the original receipt that was given to you on the purchase of the ticket.

Please proceed with your travel arrangements (or if necessary ask Pisa to buy your ticket).

We look forward to seeing you in Lisbon Kathy, Gudmundur and Laura
